Guided tour to Villa Galileo, the place where the scientist spent the last years of his life and from which, in 1632, the manuscript of “Dialogo sopra i due massimi sistemi del mondo” (dialogue over the two maximum systems of the world) left for its first print run. Between those same walls, Galileo completed also his last work, the “Discorsi e dimostrazioni matematiche intorno a due nuove scienze” published in 1638 in the Netherlands by which time Galileo had completely gone blind.
The visit itinerary is enriched by some IT supports: a video screening that illustrates the life of Galileo and touch-screen monitors on which to explore the map of Galileo's places and the main scientific instruments of Galileo.
