How to reach the Museum
via Romana 17, Florence
On foot: about 20 minutes from the Dome and from Santa Maria Novella station | about 8 minutes from Piazzale di Porta Romana.
By bike: about 6 minutes from Santa Maria Novella station | about 2 minutes from Piazzale di Porta Romana.

By car: the Museum is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). The closest paid car parks outside the restricted traffic zone are in the Piazzale di Porta Romana and along Viale Francesco Petrarca. To access the ZTL, visitors with disabilities who are not resident in the Municipality of Florence can register and apply for a temporary permit to the Servizi alla Strada SPA. Cars with a ZTL permit and a car park permit for disabled people can be parked along the street for free.
By plane: from Peretola airport, take tram T2 to the Unità stop. From Piazza dell’Unità it takes about 20 minutes on foot to arrive at the Museum.
