Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the ground floor, with access from the courtyard, and on the first floor at the entrance to the Mineralogy section.

The Hall of the Skeletons is located on the ground floor and has no architectural barriers, but it can only be visited by reservation.

The anatomical wax model collection is only partially accessible. The main exhibition can only be visited with a guided tour and its entrance features 3 steps.

Galileo’s Tribune and the historical small astronomical tower can be only visited with a guided tour. However, only the lowest part of the tower can be reached by lift, whereas a narrow staircase leads to the upper floors.

All exhibition halls respect silence and are designed to avoid sudden lighting and noises.
